My God hath been my support;
_he hath led me
_through mine afflictions in the wilderness;
_and he hath preserved me
_upon the waters of the great deep.
He hath filled me with his love,
_even unto the consuming of my flesh.
He hath confounded mine enemies,
_unto the causing of them to quake before me.
Behold, he hath heard my cry by day,
_and he hath given me knowledge
_by visions in the nighttime.
And by day have I waxed bold
_in mighty prayer before him;
_yea, my voice have I sent up on high;
_and angels came down
_and ministered unto me.
And upon the wings of his Spirit
_hath my body been carried away
_upon exceedingly high mountains.
And mine eyes have beheld great things,
_yea, even too great for man;
_therefore I was bidden
_that I should not write them.
