[2 Nephi 4:15–35] No need for sorrow

O then, if I have seen so great things,
_if the Lord in his condescension
_unto the children of men
_hath visited men in so much mercy,
_why should my heart weep
_and my soul linger
_in the valley of sorrow,
_and my flesh waste away,
_and my strength slacken,
_because of mine afflictions?

And why should I yield to sin,
_because of my flesh?

Yea, why should I give way to temptations,
_that the evil one have place in my heart
_to destroy my peace and afflict my soul?

Why am I angry because of mine enemy?
