Nevertheless,
_notwithstanding the great goodness
_of the Lord,
_in showing me his great and marvelous works,
_my heart exclaimeth: [i]2276[/i]
“O wretched man that I am!”
Yea, my heart sorroweth because of my flesh;
_my soul grieveth because of mine iniquities.
I am encompassed about,
_because of the temptations
_and the sins
_ which do so easily beset me.
And when I desire to rejoice,
_my heart groaneth because of my sins;
_nevertheless, I know in whom I have trusted.
